Leyton House BP Green color?

Post by Ronnux »

Hi all,

Anyone knows a good match for the dark green areas? Or maybe a mix ratio from Tamiya paints? I tried different mixes but I couldn’t get close to the green of the decals..

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

I've got a Painted Leyton House in my stash ready to build. I chose zero Paints "Jordan 191 Dark Green" for the BP parts. I'm not sure if it's correct but it looks like a pretty decent match. Hope that this help. :D

Thanks for the reply, looks like a close match. I’ve used mr hobby 26, bright green for my Jordan. Maybe a bit lighter? Anyone tips how to change this green?

Doesn't look that bad for LH green..?! maybe a drop of white to match decals as they look a little more "grey" on picture.

Looks really good, did you also use Zero paints for the blue? Lovely build.

The coral blue is from number 5. I don't have the exact color number in my head. I have to look and let you know tomorrow. Zero-Paint also has the blue in its range and will certainly fit well, unfortunately I couldn't get one quickly.

I used Scalefinishes David Piper Green and was pleased with the results.
