Tamiya SF70H

Post by AnthonyFanchi »

I would really like to build the 1/20 Tamiya SF70H, but am horrified at the prices being asked on E-Bay.

Does anyone know of any for sale at a "reasonable / realistic" price?

thanks

Anthony

Its probably cheaper to buy the spare sprues than it is for the kit in one go. I've looked at prices for the last year or so and frankly getting it for $125 is a deal at this point. 15 months ago it was $35-40 on Amazon.

Just finishing one of these models that I purchased between 2-3 years ago. Didn't realize that the current prices were so high or I probably wouldn't have built mine. Just kidding- I'm a builder not a dealer. Don't get me wrong when I say that this is a very nice kit but I don't think I would buy one at the current prices. Just saying.

Or patience. At some point it will be re-released. I know it sucks when you’re inspired to build a kit, but most of have enough stashed to keep us going.

I prefer patience. I am lowered my stash to what I think I will build in the near future. Only thing I am buying is the re-release of the Brabham, Mclaren, and the new Lotus 99t.

The question is what is a reasonable price for you?
I still have a 2nd kit. I received this kit for a good price, but a very small part of it has already started.
Nothing one didn't have to do to build it, but it wasn't sealed anymore.
Greetings Thomas
