Hey I’ve recently picked up my first MFH 1/12 kits from the forum here, the F2008 and MP4/23
I have noticed the front tyres (on both kits) are maybe 2mm too narrow for the rim, leaving a chunk of exposed wheel rim when the tyres are fitted. The rear wheels fit fine.
Am I doing something wrong, should I attempt to sand the wheels, stretch the tyres? Helllp!
Apart from that, Wow these 1/12 kits certainly are a step up from the 1/20 kits. If anybody has a Tamiya 1/12 P34 old or re-issue they want to sell and will post to the UK please let me know!
Thanks again guys!

Find a model car builder with a lathe who understands the issue and have them shave them down a little. Start by googling national association of miniature enthusiasts or N.A.M.E in the UK. Or look up miniature machinist shows near you. They are all over here and I suspect just as prolific in the UK. I would do it for you, but the shipping both ways would be ridiculous! Good luck!

I believe I've read success stories in the past where customers reach out to MFH with issues, and MFH resolves the issue with replacement parts.
If you're in the US, I have a lathe and can help.
Also, 2mm can be removed from the rear of the wheel with a belt sander. Crude, but easily done.
