Winkleman Racing Brabham
I'm trying to pin down the color of Jochen Rindt's F2 Brabham. So far all I can say for sure is that it's dark. Midnight blue, black green or straight black. I've looked at so many pics that my head's starting to hurt. Can someone put me out of my misery?

Re: Winkleman Racing Brabham
I received a reply to the same questions in the Autosport Nostalgia forum. There was a book called Team Colors and gives the Winkelmann colors in the ICI code of P030 5107 (BMC Paint) and a Rolls Royce Silver color for the strips. Found a factory use of the color on the 1959 Austin Healey as 'Dark Green'. The Brabham factory cars were painted green P031 2248. I am working on the BT18 Honda and will use the Brabham green made by Gravity colors.
The Winkelmann kit which I have has two issues: The decal stripe is blue with silver pin stripes. The actual car is silver. I am reaching out to Indy Cals to see if Mike can run silver stripes for me. The second issue is the shape of the engine cover. The bulge for the intakes should be a little lower and should stretch all the way to the back of the cover.

Here is a 1959 AH Sprite in Dark Green. It also has a bit of a blue cast to it.

I found one cross reference to ICI 5107, it is BMC colour GN-12.
