Custom Decals UK?
All, I have a 1:43 Western Kits Tyrrell P34 prototype:

...for which I need decals. None are commercially available, however I may be able to use the flourescent yellow stripes from here, which would solve the main issue:

I have asked Indicals if they could make the remaining decals for me, but got no response.
The decals I require would be fairly simple, and I have a duplicate built model from which I can get precise dimensions. The decals are mainly white ELF and Tyrrell logos, rectangular number backgrounds with "Project/34" on them, and a white disc.
If I could figure out Adobe Illustrator I could probably make the print files quite easily, but I'm not sure how to get them printed (they are predominantly white). Any ideas? Thanks!

I've had good experiences with the Print Lab decals. Even sold a fair few designs through the site and made some money

You can get most of the decals in good quality print from Tameo as spare decal set, those stripes are flouro and everything silk screen printed. There should be only the project 34 signs which needs to be printed, should be less expensive then doing all badges.
For some history and a few pics of this car you should have a look here:

Very good, thanks! I bought some Kevlar decals from Spot Model recently - great folks to deal with.Tyrone wrote:https://www.spotmodel.com/printlab_howt ... anguage=en

I mean TMK 208, the P34 swedish GP and maybe a few elf from TMK 174, the 006 Monaco GP. Only problem i see is you need 4 times the Tyrell badge in white, but there is only 1 on each sheet at tameo, so you have to buy 2 times TMK 208 and 2 times TMK 174. The project 34 badges had to be printed, maybe you ask JamesB if he can do it for you. You can safe 2 sheets if he prints the Tyrell too, then you need only 1 sheet of these 2 kits.dr_gn wrote:Thanks - which Tameo kit decals do you mean?gp-models wrote:You can get most of the decals in good quality print from Tameo as spare decal set, those stripes are flouro and everything silk screen printed. Ok thanks - presumably the stripes are fluorescent?gp-models wrote:I mean TMK 208, the P34 swedish GP and maybe a few elf from TMK 174, the 006 Monaco GP. Main issue for now is figuring out Illustrator . I’ve never used it before. The guidelines on the Spot Model website are good, but it will take some thought!
Re: Custom Decals UK?
My girlfriend is doing all the graphic art work with Corel Draw, my decalprinter is fine with these datas. Have you tried Decalprint.de maybe? Only problem is it is a german site, no english text, think you need to contact them by mail to find out what kind of datas they need.

Re: Custom Decals UK?
Have to correct about the stripes, the Tameo decals are not flouro, more a dark yellow, the flouro ones have been from another kit in my stash! But you can get flouro stripe decals too, i remember that i have seen such decals somewhere, maybe spotmodel or Hiroboy had them.
Edit: Found them, it was Interdecal who made them

OK thanks - I'll ponder the situation and have a go at the Illustrator free trial.gp-models wrote:Have to correct about the stripes, the Tameo decals are not flouro, more a dark yellow, the flouro ones have been from another kit in my stash!
