painting of bodyshells

Paint the inside of the bodyshell (black) first, or after the outside is painted?

Asuming you are gonna do it with a handbrush, it may be better to do after external paintjob. Buuuuut...... (theres always a but) since the dark paint may show thru the plastic, it'll be a bad surprise to see it spoiling your nice yellow or red or white finish when it has no longer a fix :x
So the idea is being sure it won't show up after the primer and all that goes outside conceals it. And if necessary, retouch after external fix...

I would do inside first if you are hand brushing it, let it dry fully, then spray outside as you can always quickly touch up the inside if there is any overspray from the outside.

I would still do the inside first as it would probably be easier to cover that then spray the outside.
I tend to brush the inside to give a bit of texture to the surface.

I always do the inside later. After you use 2k Clear coat firstly and the final job is done, it is difficult to other paints to adhere on the clear coat. So, you can paint the interior and it is much easier if you need to remove the interior paint if you make a mistake.

And Yes, I airbrush the interior, cause some parts may be visible, brushes dont replace the good finish of airbrushing...

Agree and do the same thing for same reason, quiet easy to remove oversprayed black or whatever from the outside paint job when using 2K clear, works fine to me.
Take a stand!

Whenever the inside has a much darker color than outside, I put down a layer of silver paint first for all inside surface. It blocks the dark color from showing through to the outside. At least, it will be an even color.
