Ok I would like to see a full detail build of this kit.
Not that I would do it

Re: The grail has landed
Congrats on the M23 "Holy Grail". Yes, ok, I'm jealous.
For the correct red I recommend you aquire the RAL3024. You can see in my M23 (1/12 ) build how the color is like. This is the true color McLaren used in those day's.
Good luck with your build wich I'm sure going to follow.
Eric

Good packaging.
Bodged engine.
And comparing with the Lotus 72. So much wider!

Re: The grail has landed
Starting to get the engine in order.
One mystery is the 'missing' cylinder head bolt top front of the block. All was revealed when I looked at the Lotus 72,
.
On the lotus, that bolt is used to locate an engine steady bracket. Eidai/Entex never bothered modifying the moulding for the Mclaren.
Anyway, I have detail up head bolts on order, so the matter will be resolved when I fit those.
Got a lot of detail up bits to fit.
The supplied a/n castings look quite good but I am searching for a realistic anodised blue/red finish. The other thing that is exercising me is how to replicate the Willans labels for the seatbelts....any tips gratefully received.
