SUPER SWEET.
I love it. Funny - but now we have actually seen 2 fantastic 1/12 M23 1976 projects. The kit is still waiting for me.

I have the same problem. I often look at that box (and many, many others) and think what I once read from a chess master in front of a set-up chess board: "All the mistakes are there. Ready to be made.".allnie wrote:Funny - but now we have actually seen 2 fantastic 1/12 M23 1976 projects. The kit is still waiting for me.

Re: Tamiya 1/12 McLaren M23 1976 with MFH-tk
Further to Tiffoc's comments I think there is no other way to make a 1/12 kit than to refine cumbersome kit parts, add extra detail, fully articulate joints etc etc etc etc. All 1/12 kits will never tolerate ootb simplicity (this includes the newer MFH kits) imo without looking a bit like a toy, so I applaud your efforts Eric, time may be the cost, but be in no doubt, your model looks stunningewestra wrote:It's strange, every time I think I'm going to finish the M23 it seems I've to do some small detail work. That's costing me a lot of time. But now it's starting to crawl to the end. Here are some pics I took today, A little teasing perhaps but if everything goes well the final pics will come this weekend. I still have to do the windshield and the helmet I got from Wim (BBK). Keep you posted.

In every other country maybe....yes, but not in the Netherlands In this year's ESM I will not participate. The McLaren will be on show on the Club Table together with the then (I hope) finished Williams FW07 Hope to see you there.jordan wrote:Contest WINNER !!
