It's an 1/14 scale Bburago die cast with extra details: http://mb2501.proboards.com/thread/7992 ... tini-lotus.
The Bburago 79 is mostly of the prototype at the roll out 1978 but I just noticed that it has two holes for the radiator in the right hand side pod while photos of the car only show one hole on that side to. I almost bought a Bburago Lotus but then I realized that it is almost as big as a 1/12 kit so I didn't press the buy button. Some day I will build it in 1/20 instead.

Shouldn't that be a further reason to buy it!!???Orso wrote:I I almost bought a Bburago Lotus but then I realized that it is almost as big as a 1/12 kit so I didn't press the buy button.
I jumped at speed light to check one of the two I own, to see if I had an unexpected 1/12, but no. It matches quite exactly the 1712 scale, both in width and wheelbase.
I thought you meant that it was oversized for 1714th, but now I understand you probably meant just how much bigger than a 1720th it is...
And yes, that's a quite interesting build.
