1/20 2020a Indycar?

Post by cbk57 »

After another Takuma Sato win, I am hoping Tamiya does his car. Maybe Fujimi or Ebbro would do it but here is to hope. In any event i wold love to see a high quality Japanese manufacturers do the new indycar. Obaviously all the cars are similar so with after market we could have all current cars covered.

I’d be all for it, but my guess is if we get anything, it will be a MFH curbside. The MFH 2017 Dallara-Honda (Alonso/Sato) was a pretty good kit. I was able to convert it into the 2016 Rossi winner with very slight tweaks and some decal help from Indycals. Will build the Sato version later.

I'd personally prefer a road course car, but thats me. Indy is the only oval I watch all year.

I am so jazzed for the possibility of a modern level indy kit. Personally I am a 1/43 guy and really hope MFH does that version as well.

I lean a little your way, the indy500 is the only indycar race I am emotionally committed to. After that i am far more f-1. However indycar does put on good road races, i really enjoyed the road America double. I personally think they should have done everything possible to make midohio go without fans. But then again i have not been to a race in person for more than 20 years.

I was very frustrated with the commercial as soon as Indy went back green after the last pit stop. As that was in the end one of the key moments of the race which we could only see in miniature.

Now i shall return to f-1 and no ads. My favorite f-1 race is coming. Spa.

Remember the last 1993 Indycar Tamiya did modeled both a speedway version and a short track-road course version. There is prescient. Fingers crossed.

I did notice today that Hobby Link Japan did already have a preorder up for the Greenlight 1/18 scale Sato diecast. Maybe that’s an indication of the interest in Japan?

Each year Greenlight has done a special Indy winner version that includes a driver figure so this is not really a surprise.

Completely forgot about it, and the Revell kit did the same too in the same box as well.
