As in anything, there are subjects that are peripheral to F1 and modeling, like bikes, sportscars, and even the odd plane or two. This isn't truly exclusively F1, just the main interest is F1.

I still dream of a 1/12 Ferrari 375 from Silverstone 1951...

The Ferrari F1 87/88 is one of the most beautiful F1 cars and Ferraris, so I vote for it in this list . But I miss the models from the 50th, 60th and 70th. These cars show their motors, gear boxes, exhausts and so on and are not hidden behind a arodynamic body cover. What is a full detailed motor worth, when you will never see it again after finishing the model. Who opens the cars of the later periods when they are finally finished? So Mr. Hiro give us some models from the early F1 years.

I didn't say that it is strange that there are other cars then F1 in the poll just that it is funny that the majority is non F1. Personally I build whatever sparks my interest at the moment. Like tulips for my nieces doll house.

How about a Jaguar C-type or D-type That would go along with a nice 50's Testarossa

The Brabham BT50 in 1:12 would be awesome. I'd love to build a detailed version of the turbo charged BMW 4-cylinder.
