It is not a windshield wiper but a gullwing door.
So a Mercedes 300 SLR Uhlenhaut or a simple Mercedes 300 SL?

Re: MFH 1/12 Feb 2023
Should be the Uhlenhaut. They have 3/4 of that car already from the open SLR.
The regular street 300SL is a very different car.

Re: MFH 1/12 Feb 2023
Now Top Marques have announced a 300 SLR coupe in 1/12th. So 3 companies are doing this car in the next 6 months in 1/12th scale. By the way, Top Marques is a high end resin model company.
Kind of silly, and it will hurt all three as many rich people buy Hiro kits to have them built. Why do that if you can buy them already pre built to a pretty high standard.

Re: MFH 1/12 Feb 2023
You can add the upcoming 1/8 scale kit to that rich people scenario
Last year's sale and new found "status" of the MB's museum piece surely contributed to this.
Before that many people probably didn't even know about the fact that there's more than one type of Gullwing.

LeGrand 1/8th might get alot of the orders, if it comes out this year . I think Hiro did not know about the other two. I think Top Marque did know and decided to do it to.
BTW it was a charity auction, not a normal auction.

This has appeared on the MFH site

I think you hit the nail Joachim, the new teaser (headlight cover) indicates that too.
Take a stand!
