Color me confused but why on earth would the Tyrrell have any reference to "World Champion" on the label???

Because they won the world championchip for normaly aspirated engines. This title was only given in 1987 when the first normaly aspirated engines re-appeared following the all Turbo season 1986.Icon_Modeler wrote: ↑Sat Sep 16, 2023 5:18 pm Color me confused but why on earth would the Tyrrell have any reference to "World Champion" on the label???
Jonathan Palmer was the drivers champion of the so called Jim-Clark-Trophy, and Tyrrell won the constructors title called Colin-Chapman-Trophy. Both titles are almost forgotten today.

This company "Special model" just appeared on Scalemates.com
https://www.scalemates.com/search.php?f ... l+Model%22
Does anyone know of them?
Its nice to start of with two F1 cars of Ferraris but the SF71H in particular seems odd.

Re: MULTIMEDIA Upcoming F1 Releases 2023
I add it on scalemates.
It's someone who was previously known as Rallye Models. He comes from Hungary and the models are a bit older. Some users have already purchased there. Kars might have something to say about the quality of the parts.
The engine for the SF70/71H is new. There are also a few rims and models in 1/24 scale.
You can find him also on FB:

Re: MULTIMEDIA Upcoming F1 Releases 2023
Have people seen a big difference in quality with Alpha models kits? I was excited for the GR Corolla, and then saw that it barely looks like the car. Wheels are wrong, dimensions of the rear are off and the windows don't look the same. It seems that some of their kits are really well done, and others are a bit rushed...so I may have just answered my own question.

Awww…..always the same. Wait years for your favourite ever F1 car to be modelled (BT56
) and they muff it up
Not seen the decal sheet anywhere, but if the large Olivetti is on the sidepods, then it should be Iceberg on the engine cover.
The frong wing Tossit on the box art made me chuckle
Also reminded me of a story I read where Tyrell mechanics swapped the T and R around on Rosset’s name decal on his car after an embarrassing spin

Thank you, it is good to add it as it shows our hobby and scale is alive and creates more interest!

I wonder how good the brand is. The photos on facebook look ...average...
