This might just be an Alfa Romeo 2.9 Mille Miglia 1938. That is what I consider to be the most beautiful pre war race car.

Interesting. I have googled the 8c yesterday but due to the radiator pic I've ruled it out. Must have been a different radiator, maybe gearbox cooling or separate oil cooler somewhere
Anyway, interesting kit. Now we have 3 Variations of the 8c
Italeri's 8C 2300 Roadster and their 8C 2300 Monza and this one. Nice.

Fernando Pinto also did a very accurate 1/12th conversion kit to use with the Italeri kit. It makes the 1933 Tazio/Sommer Lemans winner with the full body/wings and hand laced pre assembled wire wheels. He even included the correct Englebert tires that ran on the car at Lemans that year instead of the normal Pirelli tires.sky1911 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 04, 2022 2:59 am Interesting. It looks very nice indeed. One error and it is kind of a large one is the driver and passenger doors are identical on the model. On the real car the passenger side door should come up alot higher on the top. Not 100% certain on the correctness of the seats yet. Good work by the Hiro team.

Hmm... decisions, decisions! Should I sell off my Profil24 kit to help fund this one? Not that I'll ever actually BUILD either...
Je ne regrette rien.

The Alfa 2900 MM 1938 is now available. I like the way they did the main body section in 1 piece with separate front fenders. All opening panels are metal this time.
