LeMans subjects? Well, that sounds interesting. 956-962? 917? Geez, now my mind is racing, pun intended.

Pre-appled graphics ?! I'm not really familiar with the recent Protar kits. Are these regular kits or some kind of prepainted snap-fits?

F1 and Le Mans... I really hope Pocher gets the level of detail on par with MFH. Otherwise it gets very expensive with 700 € kit and 1500 € super detail kit.

Graphics already applied to the 72D? Count me out for on that one. I can do it myself.

The new Pocher kits are nothing like the kits of old. I have the F40 and had both the new Lambos and I currently have the Ducati, which has painted graphics. The paint and graphics are beautiful. The parts the very detailed. There is no need to super detail any of the new kits, other than brakes, which I have a TVF1 kit for the Hurican. If you want, I can take some pics of the bodywork of the Duck, however you can find a 1000 videos on YouTube of people building the new Pochers. They are worth the watch.

I know the Duck is a beautiful kit, and so is F40. Still, TVF1 and Autograph products exist and I think they serve a purpose. The newer Pocher kits are much better than the classics, and with first F1 car they can still improve both the experience and result.

Of course they add to the kit, but if you don’t want to spent $1500.00 on one, it shouldn’t stop anybody from buying one. I have the F40 and it’s a half struggle. Half great kit, half junk. I have heavily modified mine to get it in the ballpark, while their new kits are good to go as is. It’s also a lot of money to spend to cover most of it up. I do like the bike upgrade kits however. Paul Koo, I think that’s his name, puts one out that’s amazing. Could be wrong on the name of that guy. Autograph model in Germany sells them.

After seeing their newer offerings, excited to see what’s in the pipeline. Very tired of the subscription model. It takes too long, and cost too much and it’s limited by geography.

Yes, I’m familiar with Paul Koo’s hardware kit for Duck .

I agree totally with you on Pocher pipeline and subscription models too.

My first built 1/8 kit was Airfix Honda 750 Four forty years ago, soon after that I built Monogram Street T Rod and 82 Corvette. Some thirty years ago I bought Pocher Bugatti T50 Surprofile and F40, but sold them both some ten years ago. I’d like to get that F40 back...

I also have built 1/6 Armortek PAK40 with Armorpax detail set couple years ago.

As I wrote yesterday, I have heard the call of 1/8, red reviews, watched building videos, searched net trying to decide if I should re-enter the scale with MP4/4, 312T4, Countach, subscribe Cobra 427 S/C, wait for the 72 D or just get the Duck. For some reason I don’t find the Pocher newer Lambos interesting at all.
