Re: 1/8 Lotus 72 Pocher...
Nice to see companies respecting earlier F1...I thought I'd weigh in on the 1/8 P34... A bit crude in some areas (Mainly tires and thickness of front bulkhead) but surprisingly good in others. It was a bit of a let down after the MP4/4 but now I'm going to recreate the Swedish winner so some 3D work to do

Re: 1/8 Lotus 72 Pocher...
Well I guess I am in the over 50 1:8 scale club too!
So far, I have the Eidai Lotus 72D and McLaren M23, Deagostini McLaren MP 4/4 and MP 4/23 and the Rosso Ferrari 643. As previously noted I agree the MP 4/4 stands head and shoulders above the rest. I am really interested to see this Pocher initiative. Personally, I hope they go older with later releases.

Re: 1/8 Lotus 72 Pocher...
So the question is....should I sell my Entex kits and buy the Pocher or keep them !? I guess the Pocher will be much better. I don't like the fact that is pre-painted and decaled but that shouldn't be a big problem

I guess it depends if you like paintwork or detailing. To be honest, the only thing that gave me heartache when building my M23 was the paintwork. I'm not cut out for it. So a more finished kit like the Deag cars suits me better.

Re: 1/8 Lotus 72 Pocher...
Thankyou, yes I did. Just over Christmas break. I put aside my heartache over the crinkle paint finish and built the car as a lightly battle scarred version with scrubbed tyres and track rash on the nosecone. I'm happy with it. Thats why I have now started on the 643 restoration.

So, is the Pocher 72D coming pre-painted?
