I suppose, in retrospect, that 'baseball diamond' was a little large.

Looking at the winnerlist I fear it will be the Ferrari of Lauda...

But I keep my fingers crossed for the Stuart March ;)

To sum it all up...YOU MUST HAVE A LOT OF MONEY to spend :)
Same here...long list but the money is the problem but I still have two 1/12 MFH in my stash and will only get me a new one when I find a bargain, so far I was lucky.

Daniel,
I like your comments it's a long build as well as financial commitment.
I spoke to a chap at Telford in 2019 and he had all the 1/12 Mfh I think he spent
£50k and had only built one kit.
He also had a vast Tank collection!
I have built 5 Mfh 1/12ths and actually owned 7.
I sold the 1/12 Ferrari 250Gto which was a mistake with how prices have gone, but needed the funds at the time!
But still have the super 1/12 Mfh Lotus 97T to build.
I think it's nice to be a bit more selective
when it comes to the purchase and a modeller friend only buys what he builds he has no Unbuilt kits which is very
hard for me but if it works!

I have built 7 with the Porsche 908 to go. They are expensive and a big time investment. Worth it in my opinion. I thought MFH lost the Ferrari license. Why would they offer a 312B?

I collected so many kits over the last 15 that only led to one conclusion...it's a waste of time and money :)
So I spend this year to reduce my collection that results in nearly 15k on my PP account...crazy :)
I used to buy everything that I MUST have and WILL build...but only one example. I Must have MG Models becasue they were 1/12 and cool subjects. The end of the story is, MFH came and made the MG Models nearly useless and worthless, no one wants them anymore and I just can't justify to spend so much time on a terrible kit when I also can build a MFH for example...

Oh, preaching to the choir. I'm trying to buy only what I really really want. However, if there is a bargain I will have an issue. As just happened this past weekend. More on that in the last purchase thread in about 2 days.
I would love to have more kits or models, but building takes time plus, if you're going big scale, it's a relatively expensive hobby. I wouldn't get 15k selling ALL my kits, but it would still be a month's salary or thereabouts. If this turns out to be another F1 Ferrari (312B3), I won't be struggling with temptation. Lucky me I'm not fixed on a particular driver or brand :)
Cheers,
Roman
