The Lancia is claimed to be 100% new moulds, but I wonder how it's going to be with MP4/2C

Obviously the Lancia is, as there was no former item. Though the Mac, by pure logic will be a re-take of the PROTAR. Buuuut.....
There seems to be the DRAGON signature too, so maybe we can epect a serious improvement? If they re-consdred the engine/suspensions sprues, the car could be so much better.
Though the main point are still the wheels. They should update this. Egoistically it suits me if they don't, as I can sell more wheels of mine but beleive me, for the sake of god modeling I really wish they release the car with decent wheels.
Anyway it's a piece of good news. I admit I expected something like that, given Italer'is policy of reissues combined with new management at McLaren.
Imagine if Dragon enters the F1 market?

Re: PLASTIC Upcoming F1 Releases 2021
Great news that Italeri is releasing so much in 1/12...The MP 4/2 will be for sure a rerelease...anything else would be strange especially with all the other rereleases. The Lancia is of course new or was there ever an Integrale in 1/12 before !? The Integrale is not really my fist choice but will get it to show some support. Imagine they would do a 037 with different liverys...WOW
Recently finished the Mefistofele...very crude kit but I prefer a crude over a non existing kit
Guess now it's time to sell all those Protar Macs

Re: PLASTIC Upcoming F1 Releases 2021
Lets put a face to the name, can we tell from the photo that the MP2/4 is improved over the Protar offering beyond decals? I think Italeri in recent years has been healthy enough to do incremental improvements

That's great about the MP4/2. I hope the secondary manufacturers can provide upgrades as well. I would be interested in brake upgrades for this car and other pieces as well.

Re: PLASTIC Upcoming F1 Releases 2021
Since we don't seem to have a non-F1 upcoming plastic kit releases 2021 thread (srsly? why not just F1/non-F1 and forget all the other divisions?)...
Tamiya have announced a new tool/new release of the 240Z. Full detail, 1/24, presumably to be released around November to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the Z car.
https://www.tamiya.com/japan/featuredre ... tml#Static and scroll down a bit.
Also: re-release of the C9. And to keep it kinda-sorta related to F1, they're also reissuing the Fiat 121 Abarth Rally (hey, it's 1/20 )

Je ne regrette rien.
