Le Mans Winner or not the car is boring to me - and the sponsor, meh, zero affection. Now, a Gulf BPR car, on the other hand, would be of great interest!43rdMichael wrote:I don’t mind the grey scheme, but the sponsor is far from optimal....

The McLaren F1 GTR is my dream car , both 1/12 scale and 1/1 scale.
However, really hope MFH will have a different livery for this 1/12 scale. The Gulf version will be awesome !

The most interesting version in my book is the Le Mans winner. The only time McLaren and that car won Le Mans.

A must have for me, but I'll wait for other liveries.

I would prefer the Davidoff 1000 km Japan race 95, but i think that it something for the aftermarket decals, if there might be such option one day!
Take a stand!

Guido, that is also the version I had in mind, just because of the colours. That and of course the Yacca. But since I'm not going to build / get either... I mean, how long have you guys been waiting for the 1/12 of the GTR? 4 years or more?gp-models wrote:I would prefer the Davidoff 1000 km Japan race 95, but i think that it something for the aftermarket decals, if there might be such option one day!

Ever since the first 1/24 F1 GTR came out! How many years? Guess around 7-8 years! The first “expensive” kits I bought since my first real industrial job after graduate school.sky1911 wrote:Guido, that is also the version I had in mind, just because of the colours. When the 1/24 ones came out I bought 3 short tail and 1 long tail, eventually managed to build 1 short tail, so disappointed! Couldn’t close body panel lines good enough, also the front lamp cover design is wrong if I recall correctly, dumped it. And sold the rest ones at low price. And a broken heart....was so disappointed.
Hope this 1/12 design will finally do it correctly, if so I will happily buy ALL versions with interesting paint schemes. If this is still a “lemon”, well, I will then just buy 1 Harrods, sigh..... fingers crossed!

Anybody else made nervous by the cast white metal front panel surrounded by resin for the front quarter panels?
Re: November 2020 MFH 1/12 news
Ok to me. I am actually more concerned about the butterfly door top hinges. They looks like are made of tiny narrow white metal......
Anyone played around with resin/white metal knows white metal is soft. I am afraid these WM top door hinges will surrender, even given the doors are resin. A little worried.....
They should be made of cast steel, just like 1/12 Tamiya Enzo/Carrera GT suspension arms.
