My favorite 936's were the 936/78 Le Mans 1978 cars with the short cord Dornier wings. If those are the version being modeled, it would be a very difficult kit to pass up. The great Hurley Haywood has always said the 936 was his favorite racing car that he drove in his career.
Probably my second favorite sports racing car to the 1973 Matra 670B's.

You would think it would be....the #4 936/77
Could be another 908/3 version or LC1 or LC2 Lancia.

pish posh, they are clearly going to release a series of slot cars now. The blue things are the tracks that the leads run in where the cars get their power, duh!

Well suffice it to say, that looks very much like a Martini livery. If it is an additional version of an existing kit, it could be the '71 Sebring 917 or the Nürburgring 908 car from the same year (Marko, v. Lennep). On new winning cars I can think of Martini 936s. Those would be 1976 and 77, the following years they were runner ups. On the rally side of things, I think we already have everything (the various Deltas, the 037), so maybe it was something else..
What about the Lancia LC1 or LC2? I think we haven't seen either of those two in any decent scale. And they sure are lookers.
Cheers,
Roman

The Martini 936/78's lost to the Renaults in 1978. The Jules 936/78 is the one to do, but it's not a Martini.

They made a book about all the Martini cars, so it could be many. The Martini stripe is straight so that could be a hint that on some area on the car it is straight. Although Hiro has been known to cheat with the clues like on the 312B that showed center locks.

I was about to order the Tyrrell 006 when I saw this. Think I will hang back now as if it is a 936 that would have to take priority and I have no more children to sell to buy both!!

With this sudden spurt of more interesting subjects, I wonder if a Williams FW08 or BT49 will be coming next? Then I would have to reconsider the 936 purchase....

Ah, the delicious agony of choice

I'm thinking the same thing, not being a genetic lottery winner, I have to be selective about how I spend my disposable income. As excited as I am to see the 006, I'm going to hold fire on it until they release a German GP, or late season version with the oil coolers moved to the back of the car.
