Sorry folks, tried to remove this and move it to the MultiMedia release post, but it won't "Delete".

Sort of "Old News", as it was announced last month, but MFH is re-releasing the Brabham BT46B (Ver.A) Fan Car on approx. Jan. 20th.

I have read that this can be a real bear to build, but I've been in love with this car for ages.

You will also notice a 1/20 re-release of the Lotus 98T, Honda RA300, and a new Lotus 99TB.

That's great! Good to know, Thanks Allen. :D I don't have great success searching in this forum for some reason, but I believe I read an old WIP here on the Brabham, and there was lots of complaints about the fit of parts, and especially the stance of the car on it's suspension.

I expect there will be lots of fiddling, as with any MM kit, but realize this is an older Hiro kit as well.

Not direct F1 news but the car started out as an Alfa Monza and was driven by Nuvolari. The FPPM 1/12th 1933 Lemans winning Alfa Romeo 8C 2.3 transkit for the Italeri kit will get new Englebert tires as that's what they ran at Lemans that year. The kits tires are Pirelli. To bad Hiro would not pay as much attention to tire accuracy on the vintage models. They seem to do ok on the newer cars but totally mess up on pre 1980 cars. I have seen more sidewall detail on 1/24th scale model tires than on Hiro's 1/12th kits.

FPPM is now showing this kits parts minus photoetch, tires and decals on his Facebook page. It will go on sale next week. Mail delivery is still normal from Portugal.
