The brake set seems very expensive for what's in it. Much more than the MP4/6 version with similar part count. Obviously I'll get a set, but...I dread to think what the engine set will cost.

Thought the brake set could have included resin calipers at that price rather than have to use the kit ones. Looks super impressive level of detail tho.

The price depends on where you buy it, 50 bucks is ok for what you get i think, like Dave said, the level of detail is very impressing!
The engine set might not be that much, i fear the sidepodset or even sets will be expensive will all the electronic connectors...
Anyway, brakeset is on it`s way and surely i will buy the rest also. Hoped for years to see the detailset from RBMotion again, he told me that he will do some again, but it`s been years ago and nothing happened, so finaly happy that Top Studio is on this subject and covering the whole details!
Take a stand!

To bring this question back cause this colour looks awesome and realistic, looks not like alclad. It`s looking plain and not metallic, someone god an idea about it?

I think it could be a Silver with a yellow clearcoat. I think that way because it looks very yellow and all my Gold Colors have a higher propotion of red. In other Sets Top Studio refers to Mr. Hobby Super Metallics. The Super Chrome Silver is a shiny Silver without metallic effect but not really chrome. Could be a good base. Someone outthere with the option to have a look in the Instructions?

Not the actuall breake set Alex, we try to find a matching colour for the front dampers and the upcoming rear ones ;)

@ Marcel: the Mr Hobby colour looks like a good choice, seen a youtube video and how it looks like, seems to be the way to go. Will check the instructions if there is a colour named.

The aluminium actuators I got from TV included a yellow felt-tip pen. Once applied, it looks very much like the anodising/TiN coating or whatever it is on the real thing.

I got the brake set the other day. Quality is without question, but I'm really not at all impressed with what you get for the price compared with the MP4/6 set.
