I’m really getting tempted to rebuild the FW-14 I built back in 1995. Back then all I had to work with was some Cody Grayland parts and no CF decals. I did do the RS4 engine conversion though so I could build the Hungary car from when Nigel clinched the championship.

About Top Studio, I wonder why they didn'd add a rear wing set for the MP4/6. The Tamiya version is Hockenheim GP. Flat wing, not very pretty also... It could be used for Monza or Spa version, may be... Why don't we have multi GPs rear wing set ? So many great GPs such as Interlagos, Monaco, Suzuka and so on...

For the Ferrari 641-2 the Tamiya's is mid downforce wing (French GP) and could be used for many races. But if we want to do the Silverstone GP, we can't .

Please Top Studio, make multi races wings !

Great post.

I’ve been very surprised MFH haven’t released trans kits for the Tamiya models. Each of their full kits comes in multi versions, yet nothing for the existing plastics. Would seem like easy money to me...

Also 1/20. Eg i would love to do the F1-2000 from Monza...

Hello dear members, can someone tell me which engine variant is the right one for the Belgian GP. Early or late version? Thank you in advance Jürgen

Belgian GP was the late type, RS 4 engine, they switched one race before in Hungary to the new engine.

They have released trans kits for the 1/12 Tamiya models several times. Like : Lotus 72 - 1974 Monaco. McLaren M23 - Japan 1976 Hunt. Lotus 78 - 1978 season Ronnie. Lotus 77 (based on Lotus 78 as donor).
But problem is that a lot of the customers can hardly find the donor kits they need for the projects. So MFH prefer to do complete kits to avoid that problem.
