Fair enough, though I thought that they did re-release the FW13B not too many years ago and that is why we saw so many decal conversion come available to make different but similar cars from it.

When the RS4 was used in the second half of the season did they remove the bulb on the enginecowling ???
The RS4 has not the hydraulic pump in the back of the enigine, the RS3 however had the hydraulicpump so they had to make that bulb in the cowling .

Not sure about the bulb on the cowling, but RS4 was used several times in practice before it made it`s official appearance at Hungary as comon engine.
Take a stand!

Portugal was totally the RS4 engine, on Youtube there is a video of Patreses crash at that race, when the car comes to a stop they zoom in and the bubble certainly appears to be there. Also, the RS4 was used in Qualifying in earlier races and the bubble is definitely there in those instances too. I guess they always wanted the option to switch back if needed.

Hi all. Quick question regarding the cockpit detailing.

Is it fair to assume the seat provided in the kit is to be placed over all the detail in the Top Studio cockpit set? Or is there evidence of Mansell or Patrese actually running the car sitting directly on top of all the ancilleries without an actual seat in place?

Thanks for any replies :)

Hi Folks,
I have a question about the transmission radiator under the rear wing mounting area.
The Tamiya kit unit E68 has two pins under it as connectors to something with no explanation.
The Top Studio kit's F22 has two connectors on the bottom with no connection to anything that i can see.

Does anyone know what type of hose are connected to those connectors and where do they connect to the engine/transmission?

Thanks
Mark

Hi Mark,
They are standard oil cooler lines, they go in to the end of the gearbox casing between the wing supports.

Hi Malc,
Thanks for the info, do you by chance have a photo of where they attach to the gearbox?

Regards
Mark

So Top Studio has finally announced that they will be releasing the all inclusive version of this trans kit. Meaning all of the sets combined into one kit. They are going to release two different versions to cover the two different engine options they have created. My questions is what is the significance of each of the engine options. I'm trying to figure out which of the two options I would like to purchase.
