Daniel.....I have my 1/12 CSL on the way but just got a cancel /refund for your wheels :cry:

Were the resin parts poor? Could I use the ones from the kit by cutting them down? Are you making a new set?
Without the wheel upgrade.......the model will be far less inspiring... :shock:

Hi,

sorry for the cancel. I forgot that I still had one listing running. I'm out of BMW wheels. I pretty much stopped modelling and doing parts and got into doing 1/1 motorcycles again. Because of that I moved most of my modeling equipment away. I will be on vacation the end of this week but you can be sure if there are some BMW wheels left they are yours. But I'm not sure if there was something left. Will post the last Lotus 49 ans Matra wheels soon. And then I guess it's over :(

Wow times flies...nothing new from me for quiet some time.
But I came up with some new ideas. Here's my current project. A little transkit for the Bt44...just the hoop and decals. Will make all hoops I can find and pretty much all decal version that ever ran :) Decal design is pretyy straightforward but making those hoops is not that easy.

Btw Hoops are those things on the engine...ban't find a smarter name at the moement, sorry :)

Also some other things will follow...but need to get back zo business slowly ;)

Also looking for a decal printer, only silkscreen and not Cartograf...any other ideas much appreciated.
Was thinking about doing some more CNC machioned wheels like in the past but I fear that doesn't make too much sense. Way too much and work a super expensive to do :(
But if someone knows a reasonable priced CNC machinist...tell me.

Hoops = Airbox = smart name :D :D

Decal printer = best in the USA = Microscale

Your BT44 low airbox looks sharp!!! nice work!!

Thanks a lot...will go over the airbox once again and then it should look ok...

Also think about doing a "mild" conversion from Bt44 to 42 and if that would make sense...just decals, airbox and nose
