Anyone have experience with this brand of decals? I just received the Lotus 99T and MP4/4 sets and they look awesome.
Great prices too like $12.00 a sheet! Also , the Camel logos are the correct blue shade ( too dark on most brands).

Re: Decalpool decals
From Decalpool I only used decals for driver figures, I still have some from McLaren MP4/5B.
But as you say, they make a good impression and are easy to work with.

Re: Decalpool decals
I had a nightmare of a time getting a decal set from them. They first sent the wrong car version of a decal, said they'd send me the right one, never did, I appealed to Paypal, they finally sent a tracking number which never was going anywhere and Paypal gave me my money back. In their defense, I did finally get the decal, but it was bent as nothing was done on their part to protect it like Indycals decals are for example.
Re: Decalpool decals
I only can say they are working fine, especially the flouro red is matching the zero paints very good on mclaren decals.
Take a stand!

Re: Decalpool decals
I have used them on my Lotus 79.
The set has decent color and print quality. The made one set to cover both the Hasegawa kit and the Tamiya kit, but even when using the specified decals, they did not fit, such as the front wing end plates.
I also felt their backing film was a bit heavy, but as the various lines of the Lotus 79 are complicated and require some maneuvering, it probably worked in my advantage.
I also bought their Lotus 78 set (so the colors match) but I have not tried it.
I then bought a Lotus 97T set, and the print quality is worse. one side of the sheet is well printed, but other side gets fuzzy. Also, they wrote the drivers name as "Eliode Angeles" so, I did not buy any more sets after that.

Re: Decalpool decals
I don't recommend it. I have the MP4/2 Decal. The M@r!b*r* font is too bold and the orange is to pink. The MP4/6 Senna 1:12 Figure Decal I have is way out of Register.

Re: Decalpool decals
In my opinion decalpool is a company worth to be suported, because they seem to be the only ones to make F1 pit crew decals for several older F1 cars.
I have bought a few of their pit crew sets, but so far I have only used some bits of one of them. I had no problems and they look fine.

Thanks everyone for the feedback - maybe if they get their QC straightened out ?
