Thanks all for your good wishes, she's come out of hospital today although she remains under close watch. I passed on your comments and she thanks you all.

A couple of sample pictures of the kit so far. I've used Squadron Green on the lower mould line which was quite pronounced. I'm already in damage limitation as I've broken the etched suspension parts!

Doh... hope the suspension comes good. I'm not sure how to properly re-join etching pieces though.

It all looks quite detailed - keep us posted.

tried to solder the etched parts together and so far (fingers crossed) it seems to be holding.

Ian,

If it doesn't hold let me know and I'll order you some spares.

Cheers Paul.

I'm using this kit to practice with that Cold Solder techniques. How that develops dictates whether I complete it or not.

Been a while since I posted anything. Got the body rubbed down and in primer. Hoping to paint it at the weekend. I'll post more pictures as I go.

The repaired etch seems to be holding so I'll stick with that for now I think.

Ok, I've spent most of the evening assembling the front suspension from a number of broken parts. The vertical shocks are trapped between a couple of folded over parts and then these 'clip' into place. The problem is the clip holes are too small and the etch joins cannot take the tooing and froing required to get it all assembled and in place. Still after a little butchery I got there in the end. The only real casualties were the endplates on the upper shock mounts which were basically discarded for the sake of my sanity!

Any way I'll let the photographs do the talking:

Any questions I look forward to answering.
