Grump - what blue did you use for the light blue...nose and airbox? Also, that vise looks like it would be a handy tool for doing 1/43 wings...always a test of patience for me.

Thanks!
Craig

TS23 light blue
TS44 mid blue
TS15 dark blue
TS35 green

matches very close to the decals.

That wing looks perfect. A real challenge to get all the elements curved correctly and still have the endplates square when you're done. Great work!!

Sorry to hear you're considering starting again on the body. I'm really keen to see this one finished. Car design is nothing special, but I just can't get enough of the livery!

Holy cow, start the body again - that's a big call bud... man I don't want to even think about that. For me that ads another 6-12 months onto a kit build!

Good luck, and keep us posted.
Oh, and looking good so far!

this one is back from the dead. totally did the body over again after getting replacement decals (2 sets). i also did some modifications to the body - - closed up the hole in the air box as it was impossible to get it to look right and got rid of the panel lines on top of the cowling.

i'm finally happy with the body now and can finish the kit. i don't recommend this kit for the beginner - - i've had no end of trouble with it.

Looking fantastic!!! The extra effort has really paid off.

I wish I had the patience to go back and fix things i'm not happy with. as soon as a build heads off the rails, i just push it through to finished as quick as possible...

Look forward to more.

Wow it looks extremely nice..!!!

Mr Grumpy, how do you assemble the rear wing? Do you glue them together before painting or after painting? Do you use epoxy glue? I built Tameo FW16B long time ago and I had really hard time to put rear wing part together. I used intant glue and the white mist was killing me..

Cheers,
