Ferrari F1-89, Tameo 1:43
Hi everyone.
I've just finished this Tameo kit of Nigel Mansell's Brazil GP winning Ferrari from 1989. This is the original release of this kit, TMK kit # 089. More recently it has been superseded with a better version (kit #369), but you can only build what you own, right? And I've owned this one for well over 20 years...
Anyway, it was pretty much an out-of-box build. I added seat belts (made of paper) and tried to get clever and lower the ride height a little, which created some issues. It's no museum piece, but overall the result is ok for me and looks great in the display cabinet.
Paint is Tamiya TS-8 Italian red over pink primer with TS13 clear over the top.
I have a full step-by-step build illustrated on my blog > https://www.wixy500.com/build-diary-198 ... tameo-143/
Cheers
