It does look good even if you isn't satisfied with it. It is a cool looking car and I'm glad that it is to modern for me after reading about the problems with the kit.

Thank you all. It occured to me another couple of noteworthy observations. The plastic is quite soft so don't sand too hard. The PE set was STIFF! My little bending tool couldn't do the job...but at least I didn't cut my fingers like I did with the S4 PE. And pay close attention when cutting parts off the sprues. On some pieces you can't really tell where the sprue ends and the piece begins. The mirrors, especially. Hopefully i've given enough of a hack for this kit : )

No no.....no one should be scared off this kit (except for the nonsense after market prices ). It's challenging but if my meager skills can finish, there's nothing to be scared of. Just know that you will be doing some work. From what I have heard of the Kawai FW09 kit, the BT52 IS NOT that. Its just not quite Tamiya or Fujimi level. Though the PE bits I might back away from because they are THICK for PE parts.

For all its shortcomings Bossy, you still have made a nice tidy model, so don't get too hard on yourself!
I have the Monaco version in waiting, so all of your learnings (along with some others who have posted their builds of this) will be put to good use - one day
You saw it out to the end, so you should be proud of that!
