Thanks for the info for the tubing.
If a smaller diameter fuel line is required , for example in 1/20 or 1/24 scale, normal fishing line can be used. You can paint the transparent fishing line with transparent color. Yes, it is not a tube but in smaller scale it still looks fine.

I forgot to mention that it's also very soft so it's quite easy to expand the open ends with a needle to make it easier to slip over the connecting pins on things like fuel injectors and fuel pumps, though it is quite elastic and will try to return to it's original diameter quite quickly so you need to be swift with the procedure. Or you can dip it in hot water and allow it to cool whilst on the needle whereby it will stay expanded a bit longer?
