Best of 2021

I've had an icredible busy year, but bit by bit managed to finish one F1 kit, this Revell 1/24 BMW Sauber F1.06. I began to build it many years ago, stop and restarted a couple of times. Earlier this year I decided to finish it. And even with a final accident which required repairs, crossed the finish line today...

Love the Sauber, it looks great with your excellent build!!!!!

One (probably unnecessary) advice... I would not do much dirtying with the frame, these things are always bloody pristine

Ha!! I hope he has a little patience, based on my build rate. Not to mention this project is suffering from scope-creep.
It's intended to be shading on the frame, not so much dirty. Looks much more prominent in pictures than reality.

It's been a slow modelling year for me - only 2.
I have enjoyed looking at everyone's builds here and checking in on the WIP's over the year, and next year will be no different.

This has only recently been completed and I haven't posted any pics of this .
There has been a few of these pop up here over the years and its faults and deficiencies are well known.

@Anthony_RUS, that VW is looking awesome! Is this the Tamiya kit? Do you have a build work in progress going on somewhere that we can follow? I just received the Revell kit from Santa yesterday, and started on it last night! How you detailed the welt moldings between the fenders and body is impeccable....hmmmmm.

Michael, you have overpopulated the world with built kits this year! Definitely keeping busy, they all look great, love the Volt GT4.

Fastbackfreddie, good to see the Quattro, love to see rally cars and can hear the 5 cyl out in the woods about a minute and a few seconds ahead of the shriek of a rotary....

Not as nice as your plastic models, but for me it´s enough: Sauber C29 out of paper, as always.
