Tamiya Ferrari F2001 1/20 Schumacher

Post by Bonanza »

Well she is finally finished (Tamiya Ferrari F2001 1/20 scale). Going into this build I knew the engine cowling wouldn't fit properly so I decided to display it off. Engine has a lot of nice details so it worked out ok. I always display my cars with the engine cover on so this was a little different for me.
The finished paint is from Gravity Colors Spain as well as the 2k clear. The carbon is from Scale Motorsport. Tamiya acrylics and Alcad 2 mixed in also. This car gave me quite a few headaches as the kit decals had a weird tiny bubble effect here and there. The tobacco decals I got off ebay were made by TB decals ,they were nice. Belts are a mixture of Studio27 and Tamiya seat belt sets.
All and all I'm pretty happy with it but I'm also glad it's done.

Nicely done!

I'm going to have to look into those Gravity paints and see whether I can get them in Canada.

Hi Donovan,

Your F2001 looks great! All the paint, decal, and assembly work show your very good workmanship.

These photos are also very good.
