Ferrari SF-70H
Hello All,
Long time member, but been away for a while. Working virtually from home, I can't get myself to spend more time on the computer outside of work time.
My latest completed project is the Ferrari SF-70H, 1/20 scale from Tamiya. I upgraded/enhanced where I could, but there are little/no aftermarket products for this kit, so focused on general improvements (fasteners, etc.). A lot of time was spent on the CF decals, trying to get the right weave, size and alignment. I used MFH CF decals, except the gearbox, which were Renaissance. Anyhow, the complete list of updates is below.
Details/Revisions/Upgrades:
Body & Chassis:
- Full CF decals
- Replace wing/barge board/floor metal inserts
- Body fasteners (machined aluminum)
- Tire valves (machined aluminum)
- Replace antennae (machined metal, metal wire)
- Metal foil for heat shielding
- Wood sheet for plank (KA Models)
- Exhaust heat staining
- Wheel sensors
- Scuff tires
Cockpit:
- Replace/add seat-belts and hardware (p.e. and fabric)
- Apply seat padding
- Padding inside monocoque bracing.
Cheers,
Chris

Great work!
Almost a shame to put it on the table you definitely need a mirror down there.

Awesome result. The time spent on the CF decals really shows.

Re: Ferrari SF-70H
The amount of work on the CF decals is huge! It is a very beautifully finished F1.
It will be flawless if the sink mark on the bottom of the floor is filled.
