Thought I give Clay a go at the car after Niki. Yep, the cowling certainly needs to be secured. The mechanic is also due for a new set of overalls too.steveracer wrote: ↑Mon Mar 01, 2021 1:51 pm Excellent, love to see the survivors get their due, and restoration looks great! I see that you are bending down to secure that body work a bit, that's nice of you to help.
Car looks much nicer and I see you have Clay Regazzoni now driving it. I just watched the movie RUSH last week for the first time and good to see your machine looking better than the cars in the movie!

Looks nice, only sad point is the bleeding through red underneeth the starting numbers on the sides, pre painting white that section would have helped to fix it.
Anyway, a nice restauration!

Regarding Indycals: I don't know how new this design is, but there is extra white tone in the area where it would overlap the red when placed on the car. Was your set like this? I'm not criticizing here, just trying to avoid having an issue when I use mine.

Yes, the decals is like yours, the white & even the extra white tone is not opaque enough.tubegenius wrote: ↑Thu Mar 04, 2021 1:13 pm Regarding Indycals: I don't know how new this design is, but there is extra white tone in the area where it would overlap the red when placed on the car.
