I have a blurry photo (appropriate) of that car at Canadian GP. I must have been there early as it didn't make it out of pre-qualifying.
Great to see the build and that there was even a kit!

Looks great!
1990 French GP at Paul Ricard is one of my all time favorite races. Still have the race on VHS.
Why? It featured lots of onboard camera footage with the Lamborghini V-12...to this day, the best sounding F1 engine of the modern era IMO!

Re: Life L190 Paul Ricard 1990
Thank you everyone for the encouragement. I have started Onyx ORE-1B so I can have another back of the grid car in my collection. I am also working on a 100% scratchbuilt Minardi M190.
I will be doing Bernard's Larousse, and will include the camera and mirror mounted antenna to match the set up from that race. The sound from the Lamborghini is amazing, and you can really see just how smooth Paul Ricard was, which allowed the Leyton House cars to perform so well.
Thanks again!
Yes, one of my all time favorites too! The teams of that era were so diverse as far as engines, aerodynamics, liveries, goofy ownerships, driver personalities, and on. On top of that, the stunning near-win from Capelli is just icing on the cake.ringleheim wrote: ↑Mon Mar 01, 2021 10:05 pm Looks great!
