1/12th MFH Ferrari 250TR
The 250 is done. The 250 is done. This is such a great car and has many memories for me. Back in the mid 70’s, I had a customer when I was the parts manager at the BAP/GEON store in San Francisco that owned a 250TR.
He drove it on the street occasionally and to local auto-crosses. It was just a fun car for him. He offered to sell to me once, but I was into Porsche cars and was not interested. Fast forward a few years, my brother has a Porsche restoration shop in the Bay Area and he was doing some clean up work on David Love’s 250TR. I was over for a visit from Hawaii and got to sit in it. Then I saw it on track at the 1989 Monterey Historic's. What a wonderful car and the owner, David Love was a wonderful guy. Glad I finally finished this one.
I am now working on the James Hunt McLaren M23. Big difference.
The car was painted with Tamiya TS9 over pink. Pretty much otb except for the seats. I painted them red and used very thin white tubing for the piping. Then I tinted the whole seat with a mist of clear orange.

Hi Dave,
What a classic car and beautifully finished model of it.
The work on the seats make it looks much better.
