one question: have the white body parts been painted or is this the result of using box decals?

Thanks , the White parts are all box decals , except the whites underneath radiator ( sorry I don´t know how to call it :| )

Your first series of photos look like they could be of a real car on display at a BMW museum.

Actually I didn´t try cover the engine , as I put some wires and conector I would not expected the engine -cowling fit and I intend for show the beautiful BMW engine power , but I think without wires it would fit well because I did test fit after primed and at that time it was ok
