Hi Malcolm, aren't they on Wim's decal set? https://www.bestbalsakits.com/tamiya/ta ... umber=3175

Re: tyre tags
Thanks, didn't really want to pay 19Euros plus shipping plus VAT just for 4 tags (that's going to make it nearly 30quid ), I have seen them separately somewhere but can't find them.

Re: tyre tags
In that case you should check the decal sheets of other kits. They are occasionally included. I think the 2 Modellers kits and the Fujimi kits from the late 80's and early 90's have them included. You can probably also find them on a few aftermarket sheets.

Re: tyre tags
Thanks Steffen, good call, I have looked through all my stash and not found any so far, will keep a lookout. The photo above is from a 1/12 MP4/6 aftermarket sheet.
If any one knows for sure which kits included tyre tag labels, I would be very grateful.

Re: tyre tags
Hi Malc,
I have recently built the Fujimi Ferrari F92A and they are included on that sheet.
I also used after market decals and they where on those also.

How many sets are you after?
Cheers Tim

You can also find them with the Fujimi/Modellers Footwork FA13 (both releases) and the Fujimi McLaren MP4/5.
Tabu Design also have them for various McLaren from that time.

Re: tyre tags
You could always print them on paper and glue them on. They are after all sticky backed paper labels. Don’t forget you may need different stickers for front vs. rear tyres. I make my own.

Yes, another good call, they are to go on rain tyres, so a decal may not span the tread blocks very well and would for sure split over time, I had thought to put the decal on thin paper and glue that to the tyres. My printer is pretty crap and will not print in the definition required to suit my OCD.......... Thats why I would prefer decals.
Cheers Steffen, I will have a look for these decals.
