1/20 Williams FW13B Mansell Test

Post by Badi »

I am building this conversion. I just did the extra decals by myself and I printed extra front wings. I liked the overall.

Looks great! Didn't they experiment with a wing like the Leyton House too?

Oi, Badi! Great result, I loved it. I've had the same project ongoing for a few years now, because I was stubborn about to make changes in the cowling, gearbox, diffuser etc. I've started it long before I have a printer at home, so it's time to put it on a schedule to get to the end.

Yes, sure they did. I dont intend to be perfect copy. Or maybe...I dont know if I use this one or if I design a new front wing.

I am still studying also if I introduce a second lower rear wing. Not sure.

That frontwing might be the first bit of work which Adrian Newey did for Williams.
It's nice to see you are doing more that just a decal conversion.

Kinda, why I have a Leyton House scrap. I hoped to do this car at some time. I was going to use the wings from the Leyton House.

Big fan of this test version on the FW13B, it’s one I want to pull off myself at some point. The work you’ve done with creating the front wing is fantastic

I am thinking to do a fine tuning for this wing and maybe I can sell the wings and decals if someone is interest in.
