Re: Tamiya 1:12 Williams FW14B +Top-Studio
Hello model building friends!
I got a little further. The ECU-s have been attached to the didepods. Next were the hydraulic components for the front axle. The braided line from the top studio set is the wrong color. According to the instructions, they would only have to be painted with XF-8, which was too dark for me. After drying I painted them with X14 and I think they suit me quite well now. A few years ago, I ordered the hydraulic fittings set from RBM and some components for the electrical connections, also from RBM. I then replaced these with the resin connections from the top studio set. I think they fit the overall picture better. Since I found it difficult to lay the stiff cables from the TS set, I also exchanged the cables for MFH P933. I hope you enjoy it. I hope the next update will be more comprehensive.

Looking good. Thanks for sharing as this WIP will serve as a reference when I am ready to build mine.

Very nice work!
I agree about the TS hydraulic hose colour, I found and bought some better hose for my TS set from e-bay.

It continues with the Williams. The monocoque is finished except for a few small things. I've already worked on the engine, using the early top studio set, where the hydraulic pump is mounted on the left cylinder head. I made new attachment points for the rear wishbones. I didn't like the metal kit parts. Alright, but now to a few pictures. I hope you like it.

Your attention to detail is throughly impressive. Your carbon work is exceptional. Damn, that’s a nice model.

More amazing work from you. I hope mine is half as good when I'm finished.

Hello, after a long break, I was able to continue working on a few areas. Not much, but something is happening.
