Ferrari 256 F1 1960 MFH 1/12
I got the last MFH release and startet the kit following the building instruction with the motor.

New photos from the frame.
In my opinion it is necessary to solder the frame parts, because you have to adjust the frame by slightly twisting and bending. Otherwise, if you use only CA glue, there is the danger to crack the splices. Had that problem with former MFH builds.
I was unsure about the frame color. Mostly Ferrari frames were painted in a light grey in that area, so I painted it grey.Later on I found a color photo of that time, and saw a dark metallic tone.

Next step is the construction of the fuel tanks.I soldered them too. advantage is , that the seams of the three parts completely disappear. On the right the solder weld, on the left the sanded.

Unfortunately MFH forgot the very visible tubes leading from the frame to the disk brakes. So they have to be replaced.
