Great detail work, love what you did to improve the cockpit area.

Fantastic build. Looking forward to seeing more of the progress as I have a couple of these to build myself. Can you let me know what size and brand of wiring you have used for the brakes etc.
Thanks
Andy

Hi, Andy.
This is a display cable from old laptop. Sizes varies from 0,4 mm to 0,6 mm.

That's interesting! I'll have to keep an eye out for something similar

Hi, Guys
some progress on this build.
Sanded the edges of sidepods.
Missed with the body color at the first attempt(front cowling). Color on the rear wing is a second attempt.
Body parts covered with 2K Clear. I need to sand an "orange peel" and than i will try to cover parts with one more layer of the semi-gloss clear.
Added some wiring to the cockpit area. And added an imitation of that thing, that protects a hips from bruise.
Thnx for watching!

It`s coming together nicely, good paint job but i won`t go for a semi gloss finish, i personaly like that shiny gloss.
Good work, keep it on!

I'll second the gloss paint. The photos I took of the one in Tamiya's lobby show it was finished with a gloss. Race worn but a gloss nonetheless.

Guys, thanks for Your advices. Want to clarify. I wish to became not semi-gloss, but gloss surface in stanards of 70's. I will test on spoons first and than will be clear. Maybe I'll leave it as it's now.
