It would be interesting how you exported the datas into CAD files, which software did you use for that step?

Probably the best tool but super frustrating from time to time :) be sure to follow the youtube tutorial, especially when it comes to naming folders !!!

Yeah I used that 3DsimEd, then took the models into Blender for slicing into sections, then Netfabb for some fitting tests and part repairs before exporting as STL and printing. Naturally parts so big, with such tight tolerances warped whilst printing or curing so there's some work to be done before everything fits perfectly.

Yes, it works the best for me, I've used meshmixer as well, but bit found it as suitable.

Thx for explaining the steps you did and what software you used!
Blender is also not easy when using it the first time, have to dig into that a bit more. It`s not simple to learn this stuff when getting old on the other hand! :lol:
