Ferrari 126CK Canada 1/20

Post by Luzne »

Hello guys!
I started the Fujimi 126CK Canada GP '81.

I'm using the FMD PE set.

The front wing in the kit is too thin to correcly represent the one used in Canada, so I decided to make it wider. I stipped chrome paint from the wing with oven cleaner, than make it more "fat" with plasticard.

Seat belts made with haberdashery blue ribbon, wet with diluted vinyl glue in order to avoid fraying and cut to size.

Nice start! :)
Looks good... Is the gear shifter a standard kit part?

Great start. Looking forward to following this build.

I was fortunate to be at that race, attending my first F1 race, and witnessing the legend that is Gilles.

Unfortunately, my pictures are nowhere near as good as your build.

Cheers,
Mike

Woha! I'm happy (and a little envious... ) for you that you could attend the legend! Great picture! Thanks for sharing!

Hi guys!
Update on the 126CK, I almost finished the cockpit. I added some wires to the instrument panel, toggle switches on the left panel, manometer on the fire extinguisher and some PE.
