The simple kit roll bar was shortened and improved by soldered brass tubes.
and painted with Alclad polished aluminium

Last pictures of the naked car.
It's really a pity, when most of these nice and time consuming details will be covered by the cowl and wheels and disappear for ever.

Car is complete so far. Nose is fixed temporary with needles.
Only problem are front and rear wing. They are made from resin and need polished alu surface.
I tried airbrushing with Alclad Chrome and Molotow chrome, but both were not satisfying. Same with Bare Metal foil. Finally I tried Hasegawa Mirror finish foil, which gave a fantastic result , but I got some dust under the foil and had to remove it. When I get a new one I will try again.
