Small progress on the B3: the front lower triangular wishbones are soldered...

Your work here is really fantastic. The suspension components look like the real car!

Next progress is only a small step, but it was a time consuming procedure to look for, analyze and compare photos for the front suspension. Some parts needed two or three starts. Shock absorbers are turned from alu. Uprights are from the Tamiya 312 T and not 100% correct.

Going on with my build, I realized, That the gear box is 3mm too long and i have to shorten it, Also the bridge on top of the gear box had to be moved backwards. That's the pain of scratch building: to correct parts you have finished or rebuild them.

Meanwhile I constructed the magnesium bridge on top of the motor and cast it in resin.

The bracing between the cast bridge on top of the motor and the motor support are soldered and assembled.

Same for the parts for the anti roll bar and rear suspension.

Ferrari used two different types of cardan joints on the motor and upright side. I cast these parts in resin from an old Protar kit
