cbk57 wrote:What did you paint those goldfish colors brackets on the second engine pic? I have seen that look on other kits and want to get into that tonal range if I build one. I just got a great deal on a 312 t4 package. For years I have had some references saved on my computer actually to build one of these.
hi cbk57,great to have good documentation on the pc,I used a mix 1 part of tamyia x8 and 1 part of tamyia xf16 following the kit manual, good assembly is a great kit.

Nice soft weathering. I like it. It looks realistically and doesn't look excessive. :)

It's coming along very nicely.

I started this kit many years ago (probably around 1990 I think) and ended up abandoning it!

I still have the boxer engine sitting in a box though. I have been getting the itch to take on another one and your project here is really inspiring me to go for it.

Keep up the great work!

Great work so far! I have an odd question; do you know the width of the kit-supplied tires? I have an TVF1 wheel set, but seem way to big for the 312T(for which I purchased the wheels. TVF1, as far as I know, only made wheels for the T4(hindsight knowledge). To my knowledge, the tires are more or less the same size on the 'T' and 'T4''. Let me know!
