I haven't spent all of my time at the lake. Although it is tempting. Progress will be slow until October-November. depending on when it snows.

Got a little more photo etch done.

Worked on the cast Parts from Thunder Valley F1. Washed and scrubbed them before priming.

Engine Block and Transmission with TVF1 photo etch and some of the cast metal parts.

TVF1 cast metal parts painted in Tamiya acrylics mixed X-11/X-12 1to 1.

Engine and Transmission with Rear Suspension arms mounted.

Years ago I ordered the Thunder Valley F1 Perfect Parts FW14B Brake kit. I got most of it. What I didn't get was the two rotors for the rear brakes. A large number of e-mails, a couple of phone calls when he still had a phone for TVF1, and still no rotors. What I did as you can see, is cut the brake hats of the kit pieces and Dremel the holes bigger so the hats would fit. Using a vice to hold the part and hacksaw the hat off, left marks. I used Tamiya putty and 800 grit sand paper to smooth it out. The one photo shows the rotors I did get.

Have you tried to contact Mac at Mac's modelling? - he made some 1/12 brake kits for the late 3 Tamiya 1/12 kits a while back -
