Incredible work! Thanks for sharing.
Re: MFH 911 Carrera RSR Turbo
Silver is realy realy hard to paint, this paint does show all and any imperfections in the surface, still know that and you did an awesome job Uli!
Realy nice work, can`t wait to see the finished paint job!

I saw this very car at Hampton Court Concours, beautiful machine. Did notice the paint work having a few cracks in it, as per the attached.
Also some of the sponsors logos are painted on, the one I noticed the most was the Porsche Martini logo on the front bonnet
Beautiful build, let me know if you would like me to upload the other few pictures I have

Hi Pradley,
Just a side track from the marvelous RSR model, what is the red on the car that you saw? It is just red or fluorescent red?
I think that the red on the 935-78 Moby Dick is fluorescent.

Re: MFH 911 Carrera RSR Turbo
Thanks to all for your kind comments !
Pradley, yes pls. post the other pics you took on the RSR. Do you know, which car (serial number?) you took the pictures from ?
Concerning the red colors, this are 2 pictures I took in the Porsche Museum (under ambient light conditions, no flash, white balance calibrated). This matches with Wim's comment. The red is a light fluo and pretty much the same on both cars. Ambient light seems to have an impact on the "fluo" effect. That's the reason, why the Moby appears a bit more "flashier" than the RSR. In my view, MFH has made a great job in capturing the right color

So I am not sure the serial number of this car, however the plaque on the side reads:
"
1974 Porsche 911
RSR 2.14 Turbo
Fica Frio Collection
"
I don't know if the "Fica Frio Collection" may mean anything to you, as in to help you identify the particular car?
The red was a normalish red, definately not floru. Pictures attached hope you enjoy

Re: MFH 911 Carrera RSR Turbo
Pradley, many thanks for sharing this precious pictures ! R13 is the original RSR driven by Mueller/van Lennep at LM'74. Chassis-No. is 911-460-9102. Regarding the red color, I agree that it is not a real fluo (like e.g. the color of the Moby Rims) but pretty flashy/bright red
The Fica Frio collection is legendary indeed. Recently, the original 917-023 of Fica Frio was again shown at the Porsche Museum as part of their "50Years of 1st LeMans Win" exhibition
